Simeon Release Notes 10.30.20 - New Install & Reconciliation App

We introduced new features to Simeon geared toward enhancing the user experience, namely making installing and reconciling easier, and getting actionable data.

What’s New

  • You can now install new tenants onto Simeon with our shiny new Install app (instead of running a PowerShell script). After the installation, you will be prompted to run an export. Doing so will create a backup of your tenant and an export for reconciliation.
  • You can now reconcile tenants on your own with our shiny new Reconciliation app. Simply select your tenant and the export that was created by the installer, complete the report, and click submit. Reconcile away! Oh, and you can deploy the results in the app now too. Please note that tenants should be reconciled only once, and it should be used only when onboarding a new tenant (for now). 
  • You will now receive nightly emails containing changes made to your tenants in the past 24 hours. Stop drift in its tracks! You probably received a test email earlier today. You may also notice a new pipeline named “SummaryEmail” in your DevOps organization.
